I love Christmas so much, and living in Bowling Green is amazing because there are so many fun, family things to do that are...FREE!! Here are our thrifty weekend plans:
Thursday: Every Thursday I try to do something fun with Eli. More than likely, we'll be going to Chick-fil-A this afternoon for Ice Cream and playtime! As for dinner, I made BBQ last night for friends, but the meat wasn't perfectly tender. We improvised with chicken, so we'll be having BBQ tonight. After Eli goes to sleep, we'll be watching The Office: Holiday Special! Total Cost...$3
Friday: One of the things I look most forward to one the weekends is a quiet night at home on Friday. I plan to make Chicken Fajitas and watch Home Alone with my Mr. Perfect! Total Cost...$0
Saturday: We'll be getting up nice and early to eat Breakfast With Santa at Chaney's Dairy Barn. After a delicious meal, we'll be heading out to finish (that's right...FINSH) our Christmas shopping. We also have to buy our Christmas PJs and get our "official" portrait with Santa before heading home. We'll likely eat out for lunch, but dinner will be Vegetable Beef Soup at home since it will be snowing here. Yay! Also, Eric and I will we be watching Home Alone 2: Lost In New York! Total Cost...$50 (plus gifts)
Sunday: As always, we'll head to church and spend the afternoon resting. Although, you'll likely find me on shutterfly finishing up my Christmas Cards and a few holiday projects. Oh, lunch will be Pot Roast and we'll be hanging out with the Adkins for dinner....
