Tonight as I was reading Eli his Bible story he asked me what God looked like. As I always do when I don't know the answer to a question, I replied with,
"What do you think?" His response was precious. "
I think God is shiny. Yes, God is very, very shiny."
You know what? He's right, God is shiny. His majesty and glory outshine the stars. He is splendor is more grand the rubies. His light radiates more than diamonds. How do you describe something that is indescribably? You can't. Yet somehow this little, rambunctious, four year old, kind of did.
God is shiny... because he is Holy. What a wonderful reminder.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14
