We had a low key weekend thanks in part to stuffy noses. Ugh! The kids and Eric were snotty messes, so we tried to take it easy for every to get better. This was our last weekend before the end of the year that is free, so we thought it best to rest up. In fact, we never left the house expect for a quick Wal-Mart run for laundry detergent.
We're pretty much hermits on Friday's so we ate a quick dinner and enjoyed weekly Family Movie Night. Eli chose "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." We blew up the air mattress and set up the projector. I'm telling you, it's the small things that make kids happy.
Ellie was a charmer and woke up at 5:00 on Saturday morning. I ended up sneaking in a once Eric woke up. Other than that, we didnt do much. Eric fixed another thing on my van, and we made a Wal Mart run, but that's about it.
We put the kids to bed early and watched Olympus Has Fallen. It wasn't my favorite, but I sure did enjoy pretending to be on a date. Ha!
We missed church again this morning because of the whole snot situation, but I used the time to get caugh up on laundry. This is a picture of all the clean clothes before I put them away. Actually, this is minus two loads that wouldn't fit on the bed.
It was a lot of work, but so worth this...an empty clothes hamper. Yes, I did have to document it because it may be another five years before you see it again.
Hope you had a great weekend.
