Wednesday was the last day of school for Eli, and they had an awards ceremony to start the day. Eli won Math, Reading, and The Best Whip and Nae Nae. He was most excited about the latter of those. Ha!
A lot of the kids leave after the receive their awards, but I had to get back to work. I was worried that Eli would be bummed out, but after getting a few pictures from his teacher, that don't appear to be the case.
This year has been one of tremendous growth for Eli. The confidence he gained in First Grade is a direct result of this lady right here. She is moving to a new town, so we won't see her after this year, but she will forever hold a very special place in my heart. There will never be enough words to express my gratitude to her. She is truly a difference maker.
Thanks for the memories, Mrs. Ballou!
